French frogs

That's mine. My mom was 35, almost 36 when I was born and my dad was 43. My siblings are 16, 14 and 10 years older than me. I am actually closer in age to some of my nieces and nephews than my own siblings....lol  People always thought my oldest sis was my mom andmy mom was my grandma...lol used to piss my mom off.

This is my family, I was 16 when my youngest brother was born, we were 20, 16, 14. Mom and Dad were 42.

We must have been too slow gathering on the super cold days. Stupid work!

I can't wait to see baby quail. What are they the size of a quarter?

Can't wait to see the pics. I looked at my cock bird BCM and he does not have that rise before his tail now that his saddle feathers are filling in. Colors look awesome so far.

I heard Amy was back. That's great to hear, she helps a lot of folks.

Yeah, she's back, and I hope you don't see the emasculation it took to get her here

I'm really looking forward to watching the chicks grow. Only one looks a little mossy, so I have high hopes for their color. I hope to have a few cockerels to choose from, but my first impression is that there are a lot of girls in the batch. I hope so, anyway, but I won't know for sure for another month or so.

Lol... my mom was pregnant with me and sandwiched in between two of my sisters. One niece is a few months older than me and another is a few months younger than me. I've got great nieces and nephews too.
I didn't say mine was great though...lol Ok, some of them are tolerable, a couple I might even like.

I was wondering where you were.

I need to get me some. I love the quail with the single feather out the top. I see them in my neighborhood from time to time.

Gambrels - They are really pretty!
All that hatch this weekend are sold, and he's also bringing me more eggs to put in the bator. (and I think I'll sneak a few silkie eggs in also)

When and if we do quail, we want the bobwhite, but I need to look into restrictions too. Someone said they thougth bobwhites were restricted in their state. The Amish that I unloaded my roos on had some. They are so cute and make the most adorable sounds.

I believe in WV, we have to get a permit for bobwhite. Well, we're "supposed" to get a permit. I actually had someone offer me bobwhite eggs and she said "I won't tell if you don't"
