Ok everybody! My hen is crowing!!! She's crazy too! Yes, I'm sure. Do they do that often? The only thing that I can think of is that I told her about this frog thread on BYC!!

Here's the funniest thing about them. I've told many times of my hatred of mice. Well this morning when I walked in, they all ran out from under the brooder plate. Looked like a bunch of mice scurrying around! So maybe they will help with my "fear".

See,....crazies. They do weird stuff on here and I haven't been here long enough to figure it out and don't know that I want to. Something about frawg licking, cuzzies, and windows.

The past few days have been below zero, all throughout the day and even worse at night. Wrapped up last night with a snow and ice storm. School's canceled because of major power outages. (Luckily I was fine) and now today the temps are going up to 60!! How does that make any sense?! I'll take it but what a mess out there!
Are these pics of the specific ones you are getting?? They are great!! The male especially is so handsome!! The girls are beautiful too but he really stands out, especially for only 6 months. Like Ravyn said, make sure you ask for pictures of the feet, on each bird, both feet. Unfortunately, no matter how reputable a breeder is, they can try to hide faults when sending pics. So, just make sure you get pics of each individual bird; head, beak, combs, toes, etc. I don't know if you do Facebook, but there is a great page for silkie breeders. They offer "classes" on teaching the SOP and are overall just great with questions and pictures. Let me know if you want me to send you a link. And by looking at the pics they are absolutely lovely!! Are they being shipped or local pickup?

Thanks, these are already mine. Our (my wife's) plans changed. I'm going to take feets pictures tonight when I get home. Can you shoot me a link on the FB site? I found them in the Augusta, GA area which is an easy drive for me.
