I ordered 8 blue wheatens, 7 blacks, & 5 blues. He even sent me a pic of them loaded up! I CANT WAIT! They are adorable!!!

Yep, he's a bantam. Trust me, he's not as big as he looks. Alot of fluff!

Besides getting my prodigal hen back yesterday I got this in the mail!


I had to redneck in a couple of spacers, but boy is this thing easy to use. Those light eggs are actually light blue from a BCM x EE. Some Foley SLW and BD BCM.

I have a couple questions though.
How full can you fill the water troughs without spilling?
Do you trust the humidity reading? I'm having a hard time getting humidity over 25%.
SC, do you use the cooling setting? If you do, do you have to turn it off at lock down?

So this brand new Brinsea Advance 20 was $232 because it had "some cracks and scratches", but it is 100% perfect. Not a scratch on it. With the instructions I found COBRA papers with the previous owners name on it. I'm guessing the poor guy lost his job and returned this as broken to get his money back. You usually only get COBRA when you have been let go from a job or quit and have no other insurance options. Poor guy.

I have locked down on 17 and 19. 17 hatched better. But that may have been the eggs too.
