I dont' have the time to sprout from seed, oranges, and put time and effort into a seedling, that may or may not produce fruit, for a couple of years, and even if it does, for the first year, yo have to pick every fruit off, to let the tree focus on growing, and after two years you or fruiting, you can find out that it bears sour fruit from sour root stock.......

looking at a minimum three years, if every thing is perfect, and less than 50-50 chance it will be worth having.

and if it's the wrong variety, it will die in the first frost or freeze.......

bud, hope it really does do well for you.....it's just not something I have the time for

I'm in Michigan, and it's not like I can run to the nursery or Home Depot and pick up potted citrus.

Limon Mandarina is a Costa Rica favorite, it's a cross between a lemon and a mandarin orange. It's the size of a lime, yellow skin when ripe, orange flesh, with a sour citrus flavor. It's AMAZING in marinades and rum and cokes and lemonade. It does grow true so no worries there.

Thanks! Somone else said it looks like their polish too but theres No polish on the breeders property, we believe its mixed either CCL EE egg mixd up n the Isbars, or Lyoniesse got into the Isbar pen, but she never caught him there so its less likely.

The only experience I have is the Eco glow 20. Absolutely love it, but my one complaint is adjustability. There are only 3 pre set positions, but I think the 50 is infinitely adjustable. The biggest benefit for me is how much more calm the chicks are

If my poults get any more calm, they will never be awake to eat and drink!
