I've got two hens that are throwing some weird eggs. The smaller one is just a young pullet starting to lay, I think. I'm guessing one of my older hens on the other one...

It could be from the same hen. It's hard to tell unless you watch closely.

Has anyone seen Flock at all these past couple of days??

Today was a day with family, but I managed to get a little done on the brooder.

I built the trays to which the hardware cloth will be attached. They are designed to slide out for pressure washing.





Now to figure out the door/face frame configuration and I can get it running for the upcoming hatches.

I'm going to copy your idea... My future bro in law is a cabinet maker so while he's still trying to earn brownie points with the family I'm going to get him to help me build one for my basement. That will also reduce the likelihood of me cutting off another digit. I'm not often original but always opportunistic.
