Sheesh, I did better keeping up when we were out of town than I have since we got back
Congrats and commiserations as needed--not quoting a few hundred posts!
I know the white stuff isn't exactly popular, but 1) it's special when you have to go 2+ hours away to play in it and 2) there's a near-teen in the pics
Mr. P has a short video of me finishing a sled (contractor bag, actually--fast, but no steering) run and some chatting, though it was bright enough that you can tell he'd given up on the camera work
He's out of town 'til the wee hours, but I might try to snag the video from his phone is anyone wants...
We were on Mt. Ashland, and the mountain in the distance is Mt. Shasta. Yes, we had coats with us--they're at the bottom of the hill, 'cause it was fairly warm--the coats were just one layer too many
Quite a workout going up the hill--not only was it steep in spots, but it was about 6300 feet, and I think the elevation at our house might be in the double digits...
My husband got a little nervous the time I went over the embankment and landed in between the plowed roads--beyond the second road, it's a thousand foot drop past that edge there (I was the only one that went that far, and that was just the once. Most of the runs ended about where Faith is in the third-to-last photo).

I doubt it. It is surprising how many people do care (For some it is almost a religion) It is no big deal, I delt with him and now blocked him. But for some, the fact that we give our children vaccines is proof enough that we are not "Organic" enough....I actually had that discussion with someone I know in real life...Oh that and the fact that I was induced for labor ...kool-aid drinkers

The original "sled" was cardboard inserted into a contractor bag, and that one worked better for Mr. P than inserting himself into the bag--he's just tall enough that the bag doesn't go to his waist... The nice, heavy bags lasted for quite a few runs.

I think if you dig a little deeper you will find that a lot of organic people aren't as organic as they claim to be . A very simple question to ask someone who claims to practice organic farming is Do you use a machine to till your ground if the answer is yes then they aren't . other question is did you drive here in a car ? if the answer is yes then they are not . and there is not a dam thing organic about a computer
. I assume they were on a computer .
so you see you can't have one and be the other . unless you use homing Pigeons and ride a horse every where you go and use it to plow or till by hand
. very few people truly practice organic lifestyles . just putting my half cents in . you see I was just little short on change .
