Nope, unless a duck finds her quack early, but I've heard drakes make a quack sound young too... closer to 6 or 8 weeks before their voices change (think of puberty), the ducks will start quacking and the drakes will start making a rasping noise...

I doubt it. It is surprising how many people do care (For some it is almost a religion)

It is no big deal, I delt with him and now blocked him. But for some, the fact that we give our children vaccines is proof enough that we are not "Organic" enough....I actually had that discussion with someone I know in real life...Oh that and the fact that I was induced for labor  ...kool-aid drinkers

I think if you dig a little deeper you will find that a lot of organic people aren't as organic as they claim to be . A very simple question to  ask someone who claims to practice organic farming is Do you use a machine to till your ground if the answer is yes then they aren't . other question is did you drive here in a car ? if the answer is yes then they are not . and there is not a dam thing organic about a computer :hu . I assume they were on a computer .:lau  so you see you can't have one and be the other . unless you use homing Pigeons and ride a horse every where you go and use it to plow or till by hand :hu . very few people truly practice organic lifestyles . just putting my half cents in . you see I was just little short on change .

Lol well you have an even stricter definition then that guy :D. But you are correct, but that makes the Amish trend setters. He got mad at me because I told a young girl that she could feed her chickens medicated chick feed and not worry about it even though her mother wanted Organic eggs. I said she couldn't certify organic but there was no reason to worry for just her family. He had a fit and said I was playing "fast and loose" with definitions. :/ I am a married woman now, no more fast and loose here :D

Thanks!!! I just happen to notice a difference in one of the ducks. It's making the raspy sounds and it's the largest duckling at the moment.

It *could be* an early start to a drake noise, but I wouldn't trust it for a couple more weeks or so... sometimes females are bigger than males, and *might be* running its voice hoarse...
