French frogs

The 4250 is the plastic one with fan and all?? Mines the cheapest 2100, still air styro, but I must say, I'm pleased. Surprises the crap outta me

I looked at the IncuViews and I love the clear top, but if I was going to spend that much, I'd probably just get another Brinsea, or maybe an Rcom I think folks have had good hatches with them though.

But ya know, thinking now, their still-air is not so pricey....hmmmmmm may have to look at them again as possible hatchers.

Yes, forced air and egg turner. I've been thinking about doing something similar, too. Jophus wasn't too impressed with the Incuview turner. Hey, can you set duck and chicken eggs together and then separate them at lockdown ?

Ya'll are a bunch of enablers 'round here...

Blue gill are such fun, especially for kids -- they are eager to bite, give just enough of a "fight" to make it fun for the kids and in the right place it's constant catching, very little fishing.  Before our pond crashed (never bothered bringing it back, now it's just a big patch of cattails and frogs :rant ) it was stocked with bass, blue gill, a few catfish and a couple of carp -- we used to have DH's crew (he was the NCOIC for the recruiting station he worked out of) out with their families every chance we got - the kids LOVED to fish the pond because as soon as your line hit the water you'd catch something.  These were very well fed blue gill, but they still couldn't resist whatever bait you threw out there.
Had to smile at you not getting much fishing time - reminded me of when my dad would take us kids out to the local reservoir in our little row boat -- I didn't realize it at the time but he never got to put his line in the water much because he was so busy helping me with everything.

Can't beat a nice recliner for a sleeping spot -- I end up in mine more often than I do the bed, and it's especially helpful when I'm contgested!

Thought I was just having e-mail issues, glad it's not just me.  Was ready to blame the state because they've been flooding my e-mail with notifications for all the courses, etc I've been "enrolled" in for work --- got 132 in the first day so figured maybe that was giving my e-mail fits.

You have my sympathies -- my mutt, Jethro, has developed a nasty case of the night stinks lately - and, of course, he just *has* to sleep beside me -- whether I'm in the recliner or the bed he is right there on the floor next to me, snoring and farting away......

I love fishing for blue gill, especially when they're on the bed...
My dogs sleep beside me, too. It was so bad it woke my wife up from a dead sleep.

400

First fluffed up silver. 3 more drying off in the bator and some more internally pipped.

Gorgeous! You should be able to sex them soon. Their combs pop up quick.

And I forgot that I need a solution for waterers.  It's still winter here, snowing today, freezing overnight every night.  I can't use the garden hose yet so I need gravity fed waterers that can be easily filled without removing, so a bucket and float system suitable for chicks is what I really need.

You tried the side nipple waterers yet?

Well I've dozed a little on and off.... This sux ..... But it's not anything new to me.
I just took a couple of my wives sleep aids...... Just Benadryl but maybe it'll push me over the edge.... Oh and heck I never took a pain pill this evening that my help.
I let the dogs out and seeds we got a couple more inches of snow, but not the five they called for. Small victory I suppose. You all got some really nice looking birds...... It kinda gets me thinking..... Not really sure about what.... But the wheels are spinning..... Dang look at me...I midst be delirious... Night

I'm not sure why I quoted myself.... Rough night..... What s blur..... Too many nights in a row with little to no sleep...... Last year I spent the whole month of November awake.... Need to figure out what triggers my asthmas so bad.
Hatched on its own? Bill looks a little long for yours but she's beautiful. Possible snowy?

Going to be a busy day for you! Good luck with the rest of those little cuties.
You quack me up. :hugs
I finally slept for 6 straight hours. Guess my body finally said stop. I hope the pain pill did it for you!

The sleep aids and pain pill took me over the edge... Slept till 8..... Can't out poured a cup of coffee.... Dozed back off in my chair till 11

That's what the Border Collie said!

My little daschund gets those stinky "dog food" farts......:sick

    Don't you do it.  Ya'll trying to give me the hatching bug!

DO ET
Just think how much fun you'll have til you go back to work! It could be you new career! I think WV has eggs in the oven 24-7, 365!

:thumbsup

They are beautiful WV! :thumbsup

We use the FI 4250 and everything has worked okay for us. We ordered a tray liner, to fit. Surprisingly they have good customer service for an inexpensive incubator. What do you think about the Incuview Jophus got?
Good Sunday Morning Friday!!! I read up on the Orloff's last night. It's surprising they're not much more popular.
Must have incubator !!!

"DO ET "
Yup, you need an incubator!

;)

Bluegill are probably the number one best all around fish there is..... Easy to catch even for kids, fight cannot be best for their size.... Fighting then on a tiny little ultra light rod is quite a challenge...... And are they tasty..... One of the best...IMO

The chair was my ultimate resting place

To my little Weiner dog "seven" was on mine too.... Farting away

What's worse is when he's build
Buried under the blankets on between me and my wife.....:sick :sick
And maybe scrounge up some wood scraps, too.  ;)

Sounds cool.  Do you take pics on your walks?

I have some scrap words her too :)

LOL you can always tell when I'm on my phone since there are so many typos!

:gig

X2 on the typos..... Mine even puts more in

I know about the snow..... Coming down HARD more now again..... Honestly I think there is more snow on the ground now than in the middle of winter....

I did, and found them really messy indoors.  The birds like to smack at them and spray water.  I don't understand how chickens and turkeys can make more mess drinking than a dog.

Yep mine make a mess, too. I put a plastic tray under the waterer and put shavings in it so they wouldn't soak the whole floor.

Ohmegerd...ya'll have me surrounded.  :ep

Drop the chalupa.....

I love fishing for blue gill, especially when they're on the bed...

Again :love Bluegills..... And put a cork in that dog......:sick
