French frogs

Here's one of the Valentine's Orloff/Legbar girls. So cute! But I'm biased, too.

I think I'm at least 50% on boys in the last two batches, but I need a good blue, so that gives us some to choose from. I suspect the "white" one is a girl, too.
I know I'm biased, but Jack is throwing just gorgeous chicks. The colors, the muffs and beards... I'm so excited to see how they grow out

Don't blame you being excited! They sure are looking gorgeous so far.

Glad I could start your day off with a smile.

That's awesome on the Lav's. I think I may need to add one or two to my flock eventually.

I got plenty of eggs

If it's a girl, and she's white, I'm going to take her back to Jack and see if I can get some more

Easiest way to get more... tracking down which hen it came from would be a huge pain... good luck! :fl

:highfive: thank you so much! Loves You!!

Really appreciate that, saved it this time! So they're majority under dosed and that stuff won't cut it ima figure out sumthin better :)

Yep, ducklings have a major niacin deficiency... the chicks don't really need the extra niac8n though... dunno if you have them separate or not... I don't think it would hurt them though...

I'm so proud of you too!  You inspire me!  :)

X2!!!

Not really, only one blue in that pen. I'd just like to put a white girl with Jack because he's such a pretty rooster. Am I correct to assume that a white with him would throw 50% white chicks since he would have the white recessive gene?

ETA: Forgot it could be a black with a recessive white gene. Hope it's a girl!

lol... I was gonna say...

If Jack was the roo it came from, then yes... it would be exactly like breeding Lav to a Black Split to Lav... 50% white and 50% carrying white/ or split to white...

That could get really confusing. So, if the recessive white hen is a black, 50% will be white and 50% will look just like the rest of them, but carry that gene. At least then there are still only 3 possibilities...
