Wish I could tomorrow need to plow the big garden and try to till the small one . next week start cutting hay . and the list goes on and on . I did something today that I maybe shouldn't have . every day I cut branch's for Ben to turn to mulch. his favorite is the wild shrubs that grow all over the rough parts of the place . Fresh growth is best keeps him busy . I found a wild turkey nest today. The hen was gone several of the eggs were scattered around and broken open . Not hatched just eaten there were three left. I brought them back and put them in the incubator . they candled clear no growth I could see and I wondered if they would develop . A coyote or dog must have killed the hen .I like wild turkeys they eat the grass hoppers and larger bugs .I'm less than a mile from the beach, even following the roads, and we've an RV in the driveway you could stay in... Bring a warm, windproof coat if you're actually going to go to the beach, thoughI do have chickens, but you'd have no responsibility for them!
