What did you use for support? The toothpicks will not go in
I used toothpicks, you might try soaking it over night to soften it.
Don't plant them! They wont yield any good Avocado! When you use a plant that is germinated from an Avocado seed you will loose the parents features! The fertilization mix up the genetic features ! Buy a pure bread plant! They produced by vegetative reproduction that don't use gene mixing
Thats exactly why I find growing trees from seed soo attractive, you never know what you'll get. I have a peach I started like 14 years ago, produces delicious fruit.
We used to do that all the time when the girls were young. It is a lot of fun to see a tree sprout out of a big seed.
Amaryllis around Christmas time is fun, too - seeing a big red flower come up out of a bulb.
Around here people plant amaryllises here, they're just starting to bloom.
SO I planted corn in one bed that was just grass until about 3 weeks ago, it's not very dark and is a bit sandy but the corn there is twice s big as the corn that I planted at the same time where we planted wheat 3 years ago and that has been growing and decomposing since that soil is charcoal black. I think it's because when the stuff where the grass was started coming up I took rabbit poo and dissolved it in water let that sit over night and than watered the corn. I did that for about a week.
Was chemical fertilizer used on the wheat crop ? or the field ever ?
Not to my knowledge.
Plants feed on the micro nutrients in the soil . If not replenished the soil becomes poor or the micro nutrients depleted . they must be replenished with organic matter . chemicals burn them up more or less . before you plant the wheat field again a good composted organic fertilizer will help the soil . or grow wheat and plow it in . your rabbit fertilizer gave them a good boost .![]()
Ther is another wonderful way! you can enrich your soil by planting at least once every 2 years a crop of plants from the Pabaceae family.
Beens, especially broad been, Pees, Lentils, and the best are Alfalfa, Vicia and Clover . This family of plants have a Mutualic Symbiosis with a genus of Microbes cald Rhizobium that assimilate Nitrogen from the air and makes it available to the plants, and in the way it enrichs the soil.
Alfalfa and Clover is the best because in the end of growth you plow the fild with the plants letting them decompose thing that enriches even more the soil!
Hey you got chocolate the easy way! BTW what makes chocolate?

Heck if I know, lol... I believe it can be carried in blues... but there's 2 types of chocolate... true chocolate is sex linked... there is dun as well, which is just the color and no sex linkage...
