French frogs

How about the rest of us, though?

I'll happily hatch some for you, Oz!!

But... what about Anconas???

Yes, yes...must have Anconas! Maybe Ancona Calls. Ohmygersh, that would be awesome!!

Just out of (morbid) curiosity, were the smashed ones on the edges or in the middle? Mine from Rav, that I'm candling tomorrow night for the 7 day candle, had smashed eggs in the middle of the box, despite her usual wonderful packing...

Are you using the native browser, or Chrome or Firefox? On my S4 Mini, I can only post pics using the "Internet" app. Haven't had a chance to play with my new phone yet (was going to get the LG G4, but they were out, but the guy managed to gather up enough discounts for me to get the G5 instead, plus keep my old phone as a new line and save us $30 a month. Actually, $40--forgot the teacher discount:celebrate Since 'twas an hour and a half after closing Friday, and my old phone was too full (thanks to my daughters making lots of short little videos) to do wireless transfers, we had to drop the phones off yesterday, and then we had company after picking them up again... All I've done with it so far is get alarms set and choose a ringtone :gig The old phone is now the house phone--the girls can give that number to friends instead of mine!

They were in the middle. There was no identifiable to the box, nothing ripped on the outside, just 3 completely smashed ones and another cracked one.

Didn't want to hear that...

Good morning everyone. Pretty sore today from moving - the safe was the worst.

That sucks... hang in there and take it easy when ya can...

My back is almost back to 100%.  Thank goodness!  I sure didn't want to be walking weird when I go to my interview tomorrow.  What are you up to today?

Glad your back is better! And good luck tomorrow!! :fl

Good morning everyone. Thanks for the encouragement in the incubation. I expected it to be bad when there were 4 smashed eggs. The packaging was exceptional, double boxed and each egg individually wrapped and snuggly placed in the box. They just got way beat up.

Seriously sick of the PO... and that seems to be how damages are happening now... hmmm...

We bought a large cattle trough.
My husband found used  pool filter and a pool heater on Craig's list.
He built a small deck around a piece of it for when our son was small and could not make it over the edge easily.
When we crank up the heat , we have a really big hot tub.
You can sit or float on your back and look at the stars.. it is great, no leaky liners either.
The only problem with it is that the dog likes her early morning swim.. and I am not ready for wet dog so early in the morning.

Great idea... minus the dog... :gig

I hate city water with a passion and have the same problem with not drinking enough when traveling.  So I bought a dehydrated crystalized lime color called "TrueLime" and just a sprinkle of that masks the chlorine completely.  There is also TrueLemon if you don't like lime.

Thanks, Walnut... will look into that...

Feeling okay... Not great but okay... But yes compared to a few weeks ago...
Feeling good..... Steroids are helping... I was gonna post a selfie with my duck... Then I looked at how moon-faced I looked from the steroids and decided not too.
Kind got a Charlie Brown face right now..... And have no idea when (or if)I can taper off the Prednisone.....

Do you think we care about the meds effects?? We like our friend... and would love to see him happy with his little webbers...

Don't stress about it. Maybe this fall when things start laying, you could send me something. Three (out of 4 viable ones) of my own eggs are still going. My goal this incubation is to improve my hatching percentage from lock down, and reduce the number dead in shell I have.

She should have some neat ones laying by then...

Yeah, and I usually put the better/fresher eggs in the middle... guess I need to change my tactics...

Great deal on the phones...

Nor that :(

I know right.... But I think it was better than Idol

My husband and I married with the understanding that we would never agree about TV. He has his man cave where he watches politics or one of those survival shows or that awful gold rush show. I stay upstairs and we watch lots of cartoons and occasionally I get to watch my shows. I prefer fairytale shows or scifi/fantasy.

I like both of your guys shows... I'm making a man cave this summer.....
I'm more of the History channel kinda guy.

:thumbsup. ... Actually ....
Hi my name's Phil and I'm a TVaholic
....:gig
No, not Sour!!!

Bert I can believe... :gig
I'd rather watch Gordon Ramsey, lol...

Or House... dang, I miss House...
Well, now she can watch it and you can sleep... :D ;)
C'mon!! Everyone LOVES the Bachelor!!! :lau

Yeah house was good....

Lol I hate Gold rush, those Hoffman fools would not be able to find gold in a Pawn shop...

Are your ducks broody ? And I thought Anconas were chickens?

There are Ancona ducks, and Ancona chickens.

Ancona chickens are beautiful and flighty, not well suited to close captivity. Since my surplus cockerels were too lightweight to bother with processing, I took them up to the woods to eat ticks. They did a good job for most of the summer, then the last one finally disappeared.
