This was after we got home yesterday.

:/ So I designed my Meat Coop with 90° humid weather in mind. Not 40° and rain. I knew a rain shield of some sort would need to be made, but it was not high priority. So today found me tacking sheets up on the sides of the coop in the rain. Hopefully it will shield them from the rain a bit and give them a dry area.

Doesn't sound like fun, OFW, but I bet the chickens will appreciate it.

Deb, we know you will do great and it's been fun getting to know you, too! I haven't been keeping up as much either, just busier these days since the weather is so nice. Just pop in when you can and know everyone is thinking about you!

It was a 4-H project and we were supposed to sell them but only 12 buyers showed up and then the auctioneer decided we should sell by the head and not the weight saying we'd get more bang for our buck

And then the grand champ went for an astounding $75. That's when everything went wrong.
