Day 9 (3/15)

• 6:30 AM:
- The environment was holding steady in the mid-50s following last night’s humidity spike recovery.

• 8:06 AM:
- Temp Recorded 99.3°F: A slight morning dip in temperature (likely due to the Michigan morning chill hitting the room)
- Humidity 55.6%

• 10:24 AM:
- Peak Stability Reached.
- Temperature 99.7°F
- Humidity 50.7%
- As the house warmed up, the incubator naturally climbed back to the ideal temperature without any manual adjustment.
- Vent remains set at slightly more than 1/2. This is successfully exhausting excess moisture and allowing the humidity to glide down from the 60s toward the 45%–50% target.
- 3 blankets still on and room temp at 85°

• 12:52 PM:
- Humidity hit 40.8%. Intervened with about one teaspoon of warm water through the external port

• 2:00 PM:
- Updated the incubator day-counter. It now correctly reflects 12 days remaining until the March 27th hatch.

• 4:11 PM:
- Environment confirmed steady
- Temperature 99.8°F
- Humidity 48.4%

• 5:33 PM:
- Noticed a second downward "staircase" trend as humidity reached 43.4%. Applied another estimated teaspoon of warm water.

• 7:38 PM:
- Temperature 99.9°F
- Humidity 46.4%
- The Govee 24-hour average for humidity is sitting at a healthy 49.9%.

The 6 embryos have reached a major visual milestone today. Down follicles are now appearing on the skin, and their beaks are fully hardened. If you were to candle them tonight, you would likely see much more defined movement as their nervous systems and muscles continue to sync up.
