Hope you're all enjoying your weekend.  We had a great time at the Cardinals game yesterday with my dad & stepmom.  

How fun. We're going to a Rockies game next weekend. Should be fun.

It's going to be a couple of months before I have more EE eggs.  I only have the old Buff Am hen and the Light Brahma/Am rooster as adults along with a bunch of Red Sex Links that make relatively boring EEs but I have about 50 of my chicks growing out.  The oldest are about 8 weeks and there will be a LOT following along.  But since your hens won't wait, it might be best to satisfy them with some local farmer's market eggs.  

Well this morning a few have come to their senses!! So maybe alls well! After they laid their eggs I've been locking them out of the coop the last few days! My little Sebright has continued her spectacle!! Guarding her empty nest 24/7!
