French frogs

They're black, lol... visually they are no different than black Ameraucanas, but instead of having 2 black parents, or a black and a blue parent, they have a black parent and a Lav parent... so each one of my blacks carries a single copy of Lav... it takes 2 copies of Lav to express, so breeding them back to Lav ensures 50/50 Lavs and splits... the only way to tell whether you have splits or not is to ensure a Lav parent or test mate to a Lav to see results...
Lovely birds!

Like I said to Miss Am... if you get to wanting to do OEGB's, we have over a dozen hens in our self blue flock....

LOL - more tempting than you know, but at the moment it is looking more and more like the time to close out our flock completely is potentially very close so will be some time before I add any birds to my life again........

See, you do hold out on us!

Well, a girl can't just give it all up right off the bat, ya know.....

Such nice birds! I like how filled out they are, as opposed to being so upright and lean.

Oh wow, ok! They're beautiful! They are nice and filled out. I especially like your hen!

I really think your Sebrights are beautiful.....I want some of those some day.
Garden is coming along thanks Dan....I should have it all in over the next couple days. Everything in the ground has taken off.
It's real early to have the garden in for here so hopefully I won't pay for it with a frost.
Good. June is early????
