French frogs

So is Sally okay? Haven't seen her pop in?

She's been pretty active on her thread. I think this one and that one are too much to keep up with

Thanks Bret!
I assume that the soaking is needed for tendering the game hard meat? Is this process is needed also with dear meat?
Do you use the all duck in a slow cooking method?
I wish I could hunt....

Thanks Bret!

It's just like in the Army, but you are aiming at feathers, not towels

Thanks Bret!

Arknfa3, tenderize a little, but helps with the strong game flavor.

Deer mostly just needs fat (Oh usually recommend pig fat, but any lard would do) Then do not burn.

Thanks Bret!

Yes I do sympathise with this thought. But I usually allow the animals to defend themselves (I need my children to have a healthy fear of these farm animals so when it is time to take care of the bulls, they know respect. Better a rooster teach them this then a 1 ton bull) The first time I think the 1 year old did something. This time I know she did not. I will happily cull him if I must.

Better to have a calf or young goat kid to teach them that than a mean rooster... I don't mess around with mean, they go away fast... I've seen the damage one can do, it's up there with a 1 ton bull just in a different way... roosters can take an eye out with ease... j/s...
