It's complicated...

No. It's not :smack

It would be more like the bulldog and the small dog from Bugs Bunny. I'm the big one, but she's the mean one

See? :gig

I could barely contain myself to show my husband that gif... And when he saw it, he just looked at me and shook his head. :/
I thought we were perfect for each other,,, until now.

I pressure washed the picket fence and it looks great, but I will need to replace a picket or two. how does one go about weathering them?
I know how to weather a male sheep, but I think that's different.

In a Mason jar, I put a couple cups of vinegar and shredded steel wool. Let it sit for 24 hours or more, then put it into a sprayer or paint it on the wood.

I have been out chasing a rooster around the yard. He went at my 1 year old. He didn't break her skin, but he must have pecked her. Da#@ bird, how many chances do you give an otherwise good rooster?
The 1 year old and him had got into it a month ago and I swatted him in his tail feathers out of the yard. Since that point he was very well behaved, until yesterday.

My favorite cockerel turned mean too. I haven't gotten rid of him yet but I'm planning on it. He's been a lot better since they haven't been free ranging anymore. I just keep calling him "nugget" so he gets the hint!

I'd grab a drill and see if you can make Queenie's power go out :gig

:gig Good call!!

My Lil Bit (bantam cochin frizzle) laid her first egg today!!!!! :weee. Here is the comparison of Barred Rock, recently started laying EE, and her egg!!!!

400

It's so cute!!

:hugs
You skipped last night's posts, didn't you? Loaded and unloaded a full pallet of bricks yesterday... they whooped my @$$... :/
.

What are you going to do with all the bricks?

Ok, here's one for ya... Armand, being the little "man" that he is, chases the smaller bantams sometimes... especially when I first let both sets out.  I'll sometimes walk between them, and herd him to the other side of the yard, with his girls.  Now I've noticed that he will look around for me before he chases the little ones.  Its actually quite funny.

When I first let mine out in the morning, they are super feisty. Boys trying to mate the girls, the young ones are chest bumping. It's crazy when that door opens!! They sure don't need any caffeine, whereas I'm still half asleep!

Omg....#2 is coming out soon!!!!
