Oregon white truffles. A yummy, very particular fungus.

just teasing, I've eaten many odd and great, and not so great things........truffles has not been part of the list.

Not everything hunted is shot at... these things are hard to find, so it's like a treasure hunt, capic?

The racoon around here would argue with you about the sniper thing... IF they could, hard to do with holes in places and from under the grass.
