There are a few extremes. One side is the veganism group. I agree, some are very zealous in their observance of that diet.I assume that they are the most vocal horns of the new vegansim trend! Which some people may say vegansim cult!
Card-carrying member in good standing of PETA here...People Eating Tasty AnimalsThere are a few extremes. One side is the veganism group. I agree, some are very zealous in their observance of that diet.
Then there are the paleo/local sourced meat individuals, who don't have any reservations about eating meat, as long as they know the source of their food.
I can understand the rational for both of the above groups. I might not agree with them, but I can understand what they are thinking. I think it is a direct reaction to people like my aunt, who prefers to be ignorant of where any of her food comes from, and is appalled that I would eat something I raised, or that I hunted for.
That is the group I don't understand, the individuals who insist that no animal was harmed in the production of their meat. Because they hire their killing done, they perceive themselves as morally superior to those that are willing to harvest their own meat...
Sorry. As you can see, this is a sensitive subject with me.
Me as well!Card-carrying member in good standing of PETA here...People Eating Tasty Animals
