What's the best way to get rid of honey bees in the chute of my tube feeder (just like your's) that won't harm the birds or bees?
They're in the "Y" fitting, where the birds, feed, not the tube.

That's a new one on me, but if I had that problem I would probably harm the bees...
Got a bee man coming, but if he's no help, I've got to come up with a way. Don't think the chickens will try to feed with them there

End of problem...Bee guy came; said they won't hurt anything. He's got chickens himself...says he knows bee keepers who have hives in their coops & everyone gets along fine. Pretty warm here today; good cold snap should get rid of them. Chickens sticking their heads right in the middle of 1-20 bees to feed with no hesitation.

soapy water would probably be the best method.

especially if its dawn. the regular, with no perfumes or anything like that.

I take out the wasp nest that are on our front porch, or anywhere else that could get me or the kids stung. I try to leave them if I can, but if getting stung is a concern, they got to go.

FYI, the soapy water will harm the bees, but not the birds.
