French frogs

How's the flock looking, Walnut? All eating and drinking OK?

Other than a couple that dropped dead, the rest are eating, drinking, roosting, scratching and acting just fine. They are eating a LOT so I suspect that he also didn't shake down the feeders, which needs to be done every day or two to prevent the fine mash from packing down. And there was no sign of scratch anywhere, so they must have gone hungry. I sold 4 hens yesterday for soup and two of them were flyweights, two were light but not abnormally so.

One of the young roosters was beating up on OG, the turkey, so I kicked him over to the turkey coop for an attitude adjustment. The Bourbon Red hen grabbed him and flung him about three feet when he came at her.

LOL - must have startled the heck out of him!
