I don't have cable can't get it...can't get cell reception. Don't get plowed, don't get garbage pick up. Don't get sewer. Don't get internet. No city water...crap we got nothing. The whole U.P. has 300k people. Look at it on the map. That's a bunch of land for so few people. Now granted I have satellite TV and internet....Propane heat. There aren't a bunch of roads up here either.

I'm not looking forward to shipped eggs again this year, but to get the birds I want, it's my only option right now. At least I'll have some homegrown eggs to set this year. Hope a few of the silkies pull off a miracle for you.

I abhor shipped eggs, but want these turkeys a lot! It's definitely a crap shoot, but better to try than don't try and guarantee you don't get anything...

I love my people...the system is flawed. But the people I have rock. I've known some of them most of my life....(small town). The Dr who treated my leukemia even came to VA for a spell....

That's good... yeah, system is a bit more than flawed... my FIL loved Hines in Chicago, but doesn't like Nash's at all...

Yeah no natural gas either.pretty much forest.....hey but we do have
electricity..but some don't.
I have friends that run diesel generators. And have out houses.
But I love it here...maybe not so much when it's cold like it is today...but over all I love it..grew up in Detroit
Never going back. Been here 34 years.
