French frogs

I lost 26 hens and turkeys to a loose dog a few years ago. It took all the restraint I could muster not to pursue and kill the dog as it was already off our property. I called the local PD and they followed it to its home, the court system ordered it held, and the dog was eventually euthanized as the owner disclaimed all responsibility. The dog WILL come back.

Good grief! Glad you're patient!

I know...But we are not to calling the police yet, we will give them a chance to get it worked out.

Oh I know, but I really do like the wife....And I do not like many people here. We all let our dogs run around here, but rarely have a problem. The dogs usually have enough space to be happy. Here's for hoping this is settled :/
I had a friend suggest getting a Great Pyrenees. But I hear they have a huge territory, does anyone know how large?

good morning frogs.

OFW hey great pyr's territory is as far as he can see. Or as much as you will fencing to keep him.

I've only had the current dog we have now. But I've been around a few of them. One of the reasons I selected this breed was because they are people friendly.

I was told they would not tolerate a new dog showing up, like this one does. A fence is not an option, but we have more then enough area.
What I want to get is a English shepard, to replace my Shepard mutt that got hit and is down to 3 legs. But my experience is they are very social :/
I already have a dog with a huge territory, I think he is part greyhound the way he runs. He is great at taking care of racoons and opossum, but will not fight another dog either.
