My father is on the fire department, so I sympathise with them

Saddly just because some people live rural does not mean they have basic fire safety sense. He constantly has farmers calling him asking for permits when 40/50 mph winds are expected. Not that you are so foolish, just that rural does not always mean more sense...

I have battled grass and brush fires . but never here . watch the wind and weather . only burn when it is safe . but I'm old been around a while . I am a good neighbor . we lost our home to fire when I was young not out of high school yet . all the family photos all the things I made in wood shop guns tools every thing . it was very hard on my mother , so I have a great deal of respect for fire . smoke detectors have saved our home four times .if you don't have them you should have them .

It would've been 2 months old tomorrow. I put the worlds best wormer (

) in their feed this morning.

pellets ? two weeks late I'm thinking . six weeks . small worms migrate into tiny blood vessels and kill instantly my troubles last year were all worms however there are things that blow through and take out the weaker chickens from time to time . not big on meds . but use when I have to . once they get sick and you know it seams like nothing helps . have to say though if you are going to farm for life . you are well on the way to being a very good one .

Interesting have to read more when I have time . started to buy a microscope to do my own slides . D.W. managed a vets office for five years. knows how to do that stuff . only way to know what they have and how to clear it up.

do you know how to and what to look for I don't but she does well with dogs horses and cows but a lot of the worms are the same . If you can do that you are way ahead of the game. hey with the internet you can learn a lot .now kicking myself for not getting that microscope .

I do know this you are not for the worms but there eggs the higher the number the more worms they have . wish I was smart instead of pretty
