Better you than me. I crashed skiing many years ago. Hit a patch of slush... Ski smacked me in the mouth, broke a tooth plumb through my top lip, had to be evacuated off the mountain..... never skiied again

Skiing is big around here...but I've never done...now that I'm old wish I had...I guess I could try cross country skiing...can you limp when you do that?

Thanks. These are the cutest chicks I have ever seen. If I get a break in the action tonight, I have a feeling they will be in the brooder.
The woman that is buying them already wants to know when they will be ready. I said "I need to keep them for a few days to make sure they are healthy"

Oh, I thought you were keeping them to grow out. The man that is buying mine already emailed me twice to see how the hatch is going too! It's hard to give them up but it lets you hatch more!!

Looks like a nice big chunk! I'd give it some time. I know your nose is glued to it anyway lol. Trust yourself. You will know when/if it needs help.

I put it pip end up in a cutdown individual carton, so the fluid would flow away from the beak. When I took it out to check, all the fluid was sorta crystallizing around the pip. But it did start peeping at me, so I think it will be good. I'll lay it back down before I go to bed, so hopefully it can zip on its own.

Yeah, they have a nice dry house to snuggle in... they're doing fine, really... just getting the stink eye from Lady Grey...

They are so beautiful! I don't know how these animals tolerate the cold so well!
