it's either am or legbar, I haven't separated them yet. It weighs 39 grams. I don't know how to tell the difference between the eggs.
Oh, does that change at 1:45 ?

My Legbars eggs are the same way. Very round, more glossy than the others, and surprisingly heavier than they look. Hope I get a few Legbar mixes to hatch in a few weeks!

Yep, since they're rounder they don't visually look as big, but they're comparable in size...

This one must be an am, then.
So I go out to the coop and notice my EE Osprey (the one with a beard) coming out of the nest box. I pull the egg and realize that all the EE eggs in the incubator are not hers, they are Betty's (clean faced)- the eggs are both green but have always looked slightly different.
Took all I had not to stick it in the incubator with the others, and I put it in the fridge instead..![]()
Nice thing is that I'll know who the mom is if any of these EE/Orloffs hatch. Will collect some from Osprey for the Easter HAL.
