Me too. You should see how I post on other threads :sick

SC, you're ... okay, I've seen other threads, in a way you have the most stable personality. Stable like sometimes balance means two equally dramatic opposing forces balancing eachother out.

I had thought I remembered some about your bcm history. If you need some more blood in the line, check out Chicken Scratch Poultry. I got my babies from Angie, and they're not SOP, but I think they're worth working with. They have feathered legs, down to the outside toe, short full tails, red ears, and like one white polka dot on a feather, of course these are the ones I kept. The order ended up having about five roos in it, only the one I kept I truly liked, good temperment, good color, big comb with you could say 6 spikes not the 5, but good birds. I love them, the hens are soooo sweet to me.

Good morning everyone! Sun is finally shining. I might bundle thing 1 and thing 2 up today and throw them outside
be sure they have their collars on, before ya'll head out........so much easier to chain them to their tree, to keep them from wandering off......

I knew I wanted Davis line, because the egg color is the most important thing to me, but I do at least want to have a flock that meets the Standard. I heard about Julie Akers from sidewing, and after he grew hers out, he was very happy with them. Julie was actually recommended to him by Bev Davis, who no longer sells birds. I'm really looking forward to watching these grow and see how they turn out. They should start laying by July or so, and then I will have Paul Smith AMs and Bev Davis BCM going. That should keep me busy for a while

You laugh thing 1 has gotten away from me more then once, that's right Mother of the Year award winner right here. I would be working in the garden with the baby in the play pen and look up to see thing 1 missing. Fortunately she is never too hard to find, I just follow the trail of animals she leaves in her wake. Good thing too, one time I found her about 200 yards in the pasture, another time she was way out in the field :/ I need to invest in a GPS tracking chip, put it in her shoe or something...
No today I will have to watch them, the drifts are high enough to lose a child.
