no always keep the best one maybe drop the price a little and be honest with your buyer . no matter how much it hurts be honest what to say it would t show up in the other . unless it at auction I will take anything back . and If I sell a bird that dies within a couple of days I'll give them their money back .

Oh, I didn't mean I would lie to her. I just meant if she is experienced enough to deal with it, or know for sure which it is, so maybe she can help me when she sees them. And I can't drop the price, these are freebies. Need to get rid of them anyway.

And now after looking at pics of pox, I'm more worried. I may have noticed a dark spot on one of the sebrights too, so I'm about to

Oh no....
I missed these posts :hugs

my EE rooster got a little frostbite a few weeks ago, and he has a few black spots, but nothing to worry about

That does make me feel a little better. I thought frostbite to begin with, I hope that's all it is.

Fowl pox is one scary Google image search...

Woohoo! :woot

WV, does she perhaps have frost bite too? I'm keeping fingers crossed for no viral... what about fever, sneezing, eye sheen, or nasal discharge?

I haven't seen any other signs of anything viral, and frostbite is an easy possibility because of the temp swings we have had, and they are still fairly young and tender, and such large combs for their size! I did hold him last night (wish I had taken pics) and he seemed fine overall.

Thanks for the crossed fingers. I'll let yall know.

My birds had the dry pox about a year and a half ago. Small blisters then dark spots on combs and wattles. Could tell the birds were a bit sick, but nothing serious. I didn't do any treatment, just good supportive care. Electrolytes, garlic, but it took quite a while for it to go away.

:hugs
