I put triple anti biotic ointment on her eye....and I'm now adding ACV to their water.....learning as i go....Will do the same as I hatch....I just hope I can find a way to get rid of the hatches. Without having to kill them off myself. I just want to have fun and learn. Really excited about the Bator....you gonna sell call eggs?

Really happy for you... I don't use ACV, I feel its too acidic and strips out too much good gut flora...

I have a metal waterer and s plastic one. In the summer I put s little acv in the plastic one, pretty dilute. It gives a little probiotics and help keeps the water fresh. Never put it in metal though, it can cause zinc to leach into the water. I put in a few old copper pennies, but keep forgetting about them and dump them into the grass when I clean the metal waterer.

I use copper sulfate instead of the pennies... is great in the duck pools too...

Oh, it's fine... a lot of people give it... it's just a personal preference of mine...

Still learning...got a lot of learning to do...but when I brought the ducks home it was the first time I saw my wife take interest on something since the kids moved out....so learn I will.
