Mixed results from the candling. The splash pen has high fertility again, which is perfect for you, but a lot of clears from the black pen. The first incubator goes into lockdown next Thursday, so I'll do a full candle then and see how many make it. 28 were set in that one, but it's looking like 8-10 aren't developing

I woke up to one happy baby. One has pipped in the other pedigree box, and one more in this one. I should see more action today as all are due tomorrow except for one set a day later.

Thanks! Your still entitled and theyre laying well, ive got four in the bator now. Did you see how the eggs turned up green and white? Theyre not breeding stock

So exciting, can't wait to see the babies.

Well the strangest thing just happened. I put my eggs in lock down last night and added water to one channel. Checked it this morning and decided to add more water as it was reading 35. And I have a huge pip and a baby peeping at me. So I filled the other channel post haste and added the paper towels. Checked the temperature with the spot check and it is maxing out at 101 f. The only change I have had from previous hatches is more eggs. I guess I will have to adjust down in the future for a full bator. It was a nice surprize.

Mine always hatch late day 20 early day 21. The egg was laid the day I set them.
