If she is anything like me. It is for a living foot warmer during winter months . Oh and to change lightbulbs and kill spiders/snakes

She does have cold feet, I don't let her kill spiders though and she let one of the kids keep a python. That's gotta be it then, cold feet. My oldest just walked in with this:

Ohhh my children would never be able to talk me into that....It is a reptile, they are not meant to be cuddly.
