@Ravyn, I just did a little look up on the guinea fowl, Mother Earth News has an article in which they say the guineas can cross breed with the chickens resulting in a sterile vulture like bird.

I went to lunch with DH and a couple of our former coworkers and scored three 2/3 sheets of 5/8" OSB from along side a construction dumpster.  Brooder building time!!!!!

I know! Even the roosters. I could put my hand on the ground and my little hen would walk into my hand so I could set her on my shoulder. She has spunk, too. She ruled the yard.

Got any pics? I'd love to start breeding them, but can't justify a separate pen for them until I find more. They are in with my golden sebrights for now.
