Ruby, I also have a RIR just decide to go broody. Looking on the bright side, she is keeping the eggs warm so they don't crack, split and get ruined. I've just been giving her extra feed & water.

Thanks. The dry winter air and the good heat in my incubator room (son's room who is away at college) made it easier to increase humidity. That will not be the case come May.

We did ours last night, too. Mrs. Flock is a little under the weather, so I got 2 filets and lobsters from the butcher and grilled them over charcoal and hickory
