Update finally. My Big Guy Brahma rooster is gone and one of my golden comets. 5 comets are fine, and the lavenders are fine. I locked the auto door until I can get another flock master. The girls aren't going to like it, but too bad. They will be safe in the coop/run.

We went to a bull sale today. DH ended up buying one, though we really don't need him. Prices were just to good to pass this year. He got his first choice bull for a quarter what he paid last year.
I did not get to watch much of the sale, spent most of the time watching the girls collect rocks It is all good, got to get them girls going to the sales now so they will willingly go when they are old enough to learn.

Black Angus, they sell the highest. Often being the wrong color will drop the price of a steer, even though there is absolutely no difference That is why my DH turns a bit violent when the neighbor's Red Angus repeatedly jump the fence and visit his cows.
