French frogs

Update finally. My Big Guy Brahma rooster is gone and one of my golden comets. 5 comets are fine, and the lavenders are fine. I locked the auto door until I can get another flock master. The girls aren't going to like it, but too bad. They will be safe in the coop/run.

That's a shame. Sorry to hear.

:hugs

Black Angus, they sell the highest. Often being the wrong color will drop the price of a steer, even though there is absolutely no difference :) That is why my DH turns a bit violent when the neighbor's Red Angus repeatedly jump the fence and visit his cows.

Been a while, since I messed with cows. Are the black baldies still the high sellers?

I remember 7, 8 years ago, those being the next big thing.

Yes to do really well you need to be able to adapt to each new trend. (Before me) We used to raise gelbvieh, still have some of that blood in our stock. But Angus is the big thing now, that and gelbviehs have such high birth weights. When we have to pull a calf it is often because the calf was to big.

Thanks for all the hugs everybody :hugs back atcha!

He was such a good co... rooster. Gonna miss him, but apparently he gave himself for his girls, as I would have expected!

In other news, Armand is doing his job! All 8 silkie eggs I put in the bator are veining!

OFW, congrats on the bull. And thanks for making sure we don't go to any auctions! :D
If prices are down, its hard to tell how many we'd end up with. I better just stay away!

Thanks :hugs I forgot to add no signs of anything! Nothing! Couple paw prints, but those could have been Dudley. I stayed till dark, just watching from the doorway, didn't see anything around.

I bet it was a flocking bale. Saw one in the median of the interstate on my way there. Just standing there!

Thanks

You got a unwanted guest. better look at Dudley's print and compare. If it's that small fox be shaper and less round than the dog . hope you got the wire buried deep .
