My guess was Welsummer until I saw the feathered and yellow feet.

sorry.......I should have stated...two different birds.......the second one, is three over from the red circled one. The one in the circle, I couldn't catch for close ups.....

Low taxes, cheap gas, that's all I want. Roosters and pesticides are side by side at the bottom of my list

I set 15 from that rooster this weekend, so hopefully I'll get some better results this Saturday. It's aggravating because the splash is 95% fertile, but the black is SQ, so I need some of those babies

Good luck with those eggs. Will they give you updates? At least a report on how they arrive?

He must have "dated" the other lavender ladies I put in there, but fertility on those eggs has been below 10%. I think I have 2 or 3 chicks from them. I'm sure she will let me know, she was very excited about them.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with the pretty boys...

curious about breeding a frizzle mix with a RIR roo and the reasonable expectations of keeping the frizzle?
