Tractor Supply had silkies today. I helped a girl pick out 2
She was going to get 5 BSL and 1 silkie. I said 'oh, you have to get 2 silkies'... Little does she know next year she might have 100.

I hope that your TSC has a better source than the one where I shop. Two weeks ago they got a batch of 'silkies' in whose only claim to silky-dom was their black skin and five toes. They had no vaulting, no leg and foot feathering many were single combed, and they were hard feathered. This week they were still there and some lady bought the lot at $1/bird. The 'silky' chicks that came in this week were just as bad.

These weren't great either, but they did grab a couple with decent poofs on their heads. I didn't really inspect them that closely.

Basically just keeping him for observation now. Looking like no continued medications once he gets home either Yeah!! Unless its just to finish something up. Get his strength back and I think he'll be good to go.
