That's cool! And most people think its set in West Virginia, but its not.

It's here on the South Carolina - Georgia border! It's a beautiful lake now. I back pack up there and the fam went up there a lot last year kayaking. I hated the way they portrayed mountain folk in that movie. If have you time to read, check out Ron Rash's novels. The are about this same area.

Looking good, sc.

Did some rearranging in my coops today.

Moved to six pullets I had into the main yard. Then put the hatched chicks into the pullet coop /run. Moved the ordered chicks from the be rider boxes , in the house, to the grow out pen.

Should be getting another 20 chicks later this week.

Not me, but the wife and kids.

I just build the places for them to live, they take care of them and gather the eggs.

I just get to help decide on what we want to do, as far as breeds.
