Sure got quiet all of a sudden didn't get the thread killed did I. Friday did you get your eggs ?

Sorry...we heard to bed early so daughter could sleep on the couch....watched TV on the bedroom till late but I don't do devices in bed....worry about big brother.....okay where's that tin foil again....

It's a Red Tail Morph Boa, with a recessive albino gene.

Pretty snake...watching this old Steve McQueen movie til I picked up this dang phone now I'm losing track....is really good movie..."the sand pebbles" from 1966...I was 2 when they made it..

All I know is I could buy a lot of Flocks AMs for what he paid for one snake. :)

Yeah snakes are big. $$$...you should hatch some out... :)

Being expensive does mot make me like it more

I accept that they are nessisary, like coyotes, but i do not have to like them. At least around here all we have is gardeners and bull snakes.

We got big pine snakes here...not as big as boas...but real big...I saw one that stretched across the road...

Yup, I ordered a dozen, she sent 18.  Was just getting the incubator set up so I can set the eggs in the morning. Only 1 fully detached air cell, a couple badly saddled, no cracks - so I should have a decent hatch.

:fl

We were doing just fine til coyotes invaded the south east back in the eighties. Don't like those buggers. What's really reeking havoc on our environment is feral hogs but that's a man made problem. I'm with you on the snakes, I don't mind them I just can't get into them. I used to catch garters and rat snakes for my boys when they were young and those were free so no big deal.

We have feral wild Russian boars here...big as a bear...mean...they got loose from game ranches

I didn't realize feral hogs were a man made problem. We have had tracks on our property recently.

That stinks careful....we're aloud to shoot them with any licence in Michigan

Do you know what else they Brought!? Do you?
My weed book says they brought over NUT SEDGE! To feed their pigs!
Every time I weed the garden I am cursing pilgrims.

Well on the other hand they brought a bunch of us too...

I think wild hog slow roasted in a bbq pit would be yummy. Shoot tone and invite everyone over :D

Let me know when...:)

Good morning 3, OFW & WV!!

I hope I never encounter a wild hog!!  Not sure if we have them around here.

I've never seen one either but if I do...BACON!!!!

Good morning, OZ.  Did they eliminate the problem with those 40?  Wow, that's a lot of bacon!

Yum

No, didn't even put a dent in them. It's a real problem. We have horses, cattle, goats, and just re-starting poultry with a chicken tractor project. The hogs are destroying pastures, bottoms, hardwood ridges. They have huge litters several times a year and reach maturity quick.
PS> Flock is supplying the eggs for our poultry project! :)

Yah that's nice of Flock...:thumbsup

Wild hog hunting is on my bucket list to hunt.

I think our bucket list is similar. :)

Morning! Well there's only one way to start! I just love the outdoors

a must.....for sure....

I love the outdoors, too.  I don't own a gun of any sort so that's the first step.  Planning to get a couple within the next few months.

Buy Quality....you don't have to spend an arm and a leg to get decent firearms

That's the only thing I worry about in our woods other than bad/stupid people
lucky we don't have too many people....but no lack of large predators here....I carry a gun for those...wolves and cougars....
