French frogs

One on Saturday night, but not even a pip in the other 5. If nothing is happening when I get home tonight, I'll clean up and set another batch from both pens. We had some of Silas' eggs for breakfast yesterday, and he's up to 90% fertile, so hopefully Johnny will be better. I've noticed the other hens in that pen are getting a little roughed up

Bummer about your second set. Are you going to open any of them if they don't hatch?

I've got an order for some LO chicks, so I think I'll be setting again on the 18th/19th. Probably throw in some of my bantams too, since the LO eggs aren't huge.

It wasn't night when he hit the deer...actually the deer hit him....ran right into the side of him....his wife was on the back......broke his neck.
She was never the same afterwards and O.D.ed last year
:thumbsup
I hope his recovery goes fast.....:fl

Good morning Phil. I hate that about your buddy. Same thing almost happened to me a few years ago.

Good morning everyone!

OFW: you are way too talented! Your pic of your little girl is adorable. I miss my little Princess. She used to insist on dressing up everyday for school when she was that age. All grown and too far from home now. I know you're working your organic behind off right now but those are the best days!

Thanks!  Big fluffy butts too!  :D

Nah, they were right where they should be at day 17, I'm sure they will be developed, but probably drowned due to the rolling. No more staggered sets for me :old

Well that sucks anyways, SC. Gonna set some Cuckoos?
Not yet. I'm caught up with the AM wait list after the Easter hatch, so I'll start advertising them again. Going to stick with those as long as they are selling, then if it slows down in the summer I'll switch to the cuckoos and EEs.
Oh, all OE eggs were fertile ;)

I like this time better. May actually have a little daylight when I get home from work
I love treatment and recovery :gig
Are you going to candle the EEs?

"I can't Ron, no thumbs". Wife will today and I'll let you know. I'm afraid I'll drop them. I'm glad Silas is back up to speed! My daughter and the preachers wife want the EE's already.
