Good looking bird. As far as BCM, the legs aren't feathered enough, but I think all of your flock is mixed. They will all be good egg layers, but if you continue having the health issues you do I definitely wouldn't buy from that breeder any more. Did you ever find out exactly what happened to Isidore? I know his breathing was bad the day before, so I assume it was respiratoryWhatcha think?
She likes it.Why you smackin my friend around?![]()

I think one of the black one is going to be frizzled. Already a few wing feathers starting to curve... maybe.
I really dislike mean roosters. Stupid ball of hormones.
Which reminds me, this kid infirmed me the other day that the same company as that makes viagra also makes all of the chicken food used in the country. I guess that explains why my rooster was such a .... Jerk.
yes if true it explains a lot
that one has just the tiniest bit of muff.If he had muffs and beard, I'd think he was out of my flock. I had several boys last year who looked just like that, other than fluffier faces.
I think with this hatch, I am going to band all the chicks that come from green or blue eggs.......those that don't sell, will go into a separate pen. I will try to keep a pen of interesting looking birds that lay colored eggs......Some interesting mixes must have gone into making that one! I like her alot! That's the fun of a mixed flock. Never know what you're going to get and sometimes they are awesome looking!
