Do you know what kind you get? Classic? Clusters? How long do they last? Most of mine are cluster, where you have it behind one eye and down the back of your neck, and I rarely keep one over 12 hours. I get maybe 4 classics/ year, with the blurred vision and vomiting, but even those rarely last more than a day. I have an aunt that gets classics that will last 3 or 4 days

I get both, most often cluster. I've had a classic last 5 days once, but typical is 36-48 hours. This one won't let up. I can't remember now the name of what I take to get rid of them, but it only works about 50% of the time. I caught this one early so I had high hopes of it going away. No such luck.

Regarding WV's Armand x Katherine cross I found this pick of one of Jerryse 's. Cuckoo Lavender AM project chicks.

It has the obvious head spot on the males. In fact that's why he started this project so he could sex day old chicks. He was only keeping lavender hens.

Thanks Oz. That's cool. I definitely dont have any white patches like that, but like I said, I'm not sure which, if any, of those eggs were Katherine's, so I'll just have to wait it out. The blues are getting some interesting hues to them. The blacks are beautiful black.

I'll have to look up that user too. Never ran across him/her but I used to live very close to the town listed! Old stompin grounds. And they have Lav Ams?

Do you have sons or just daughters?  Not for me to marry  , I have a totally different reason for asking.  Was it a daughter or son that recently got married?

1 son 2 daughters, oldest girl recently got married.

Have I got a deal for you!!! Behind door number one: 6'4" college football player will be graduating this year (hopefully) with a dual degree in physics and mechanical engineering. Behind door number two 6'2" college student in his final year of Christian ministries degree and a body builder. Behind door number three , awe shucks he's still in high school . No criminal records and clear drug screen!

ETA: I'm not loaded, but I can get that way quick if it's a deal breaker.

I think the cuckoos are pretty but I've always liked that color pattern. What color Silkie hens did you use?

My silkies are white, but very low quality. :/

Touridal... a shot in the hip and it works every time for me...

Remember the fat black split Am pullet I have that SC ??? She is from jerryse... Jerry Segler is one of the 3 original founders/breeders of Am's that got them accepted into the APA... he's been breeding Am's for over 40+ years...

That's it! I think they sell eggs, too. What do you think about the lavender cuckoo AM's? And I know what I can trade with you, now.
