Pinterest is a great resource for a homesteader. Anyone who is trying to buy less, reuse, create their own. I use it alot for making playdough, gak, garden decorations, advent calendars, kids play kitchen, gardening, bet there are chicken coups on there.

Had a BYC friend here as well as the breeder im workn w yesterday, and i gotta say it was cool when i was able to tell someone that i pretty well know you, i know your birds, and theyre lines, even kno what kinda Dog u have . Shes getn Ams bred by someone in MS, i had to bug her but she got the line names, theyre using stock from Cliff Redding, Max Strong and Paul Smith to breed her birds.

I love my tank, it was beautiful, and it's definitely a conversation piece, but there is a certain amount of headache that goes with it. That's why I'm so mad at myself for causing the crash. It was at that perfect age where everything was stable and flourishing. Human error brought the whole thing down

Thanks for that info.  It's been 30 years since I ran an aquarium so I figured things had moved on.  We have a 90 gal outdoor fish pond installed indoors with goldfish and turtles, that is pretty easy to keep, usually 2 full water changes over the winter.  I dip out water for the plants, and fill with fresh when the level goes down, so it's continuous partial changes.
