French frogs

I already talked to the police chief.....I have a right to protect my birds on my property.....trust me the last thing i "want" to do is kill my friends dog. If I lived where you do if probably use a smaller gun....that one just happens to be always loaded....and not for critters......remember there was a meth house across the street last summer......my cats pretty much kill all the small critters around here.

I actually wouldn't mind getting a nice pellet gun though could be handy.

Rights don't go for any value here.  This is a very closed minded NIMBY community that moved to the country and made the country go away.

Somebody will need to tell me what NIMBY stands for....I imagine I can guess the group just not the acronym

Good morning everybody! Little Eve is so much better today!!!! Not even a limp. ****

But you bought a Brinsea! :)
You can send it my way Phil...

I actually saw some on my local CL, meant to send a link to you for your opinion since you've researched them. I'll look for it later.
It would be great to pick one up for not much money! That won't happen.

Taking hubby to the doc later this a.m. for followup

:fl for a good checkup!

WV I hope his checkup goes well! I hope all of the complications have passed for him..

Morning Frogs.

Think I'll try to get some work done today, since yesterday was all wrapped up with the sick chicks I didn't work much.  Had to cull one today, and the other straggler just looks like a failure to thrive.  Wants to sleep all the time and seems to have trouble swallowing.  But the other 8 are bouncing around the tote so I'll graduate to the bigger brooder tote this afternoon.

For those of you with Brinsea Octo's - do you tear apart the top to clean it or just blow out the dust with canned air?

Have a great day everyone!

Sorry about your 2 little babies Friday. I'm guessing it never gets easier, even though it's necessary. Hugs to you.

Morning Glories! We're off this week.
:weee:
I'm calling my wife Dr. Oz these days. She's been nursing chicks. This splayed leg baby is almost straight now but he won't let the wife set him him back in the brooder. He starts crying and runs back in her hands. She named him Band-Aid:
400

Good Morning Everybody! Wife is going shopping with her mom and sister. I've got to meet the tax man this afternoon and then a baseball game this evening .

Good morning Oz! Awesome that your off this week! Glad Band aid's leg is better! So is Eve's!
Taxes....sorry! Baseball? YAY! Sounds like a lot of fun

Not In My Back Yard.

That applies to everything from using wood stoves and wood burning fireplaces, to not growing anything other than grass and ornamental trees, to not walking your dog in their neighborhood (no sidewalks, so they want to keep people from walking on public streets), to no farms, no fields, no chainsaws or tillers or bonfires or target shooting (even archery).

We proudly break all of these NIMBY rules and fight so that they do not slip into ordinance. We are on the wrong side of a few, it's illegal to have a vegetable garden if you have less than 3 acres. Bonfires are illegal too, so ours are cooking fires.

We would do the same!! That's crazy!! No garden if u don't have 3 acres...
I'm glad I won't be here to see America in a 100 years. If it even exists then...it's already crumbling..

I forgot a few.

No portable buildings (including hoop houses). No agricultural fences, no electric fence. No ponds unless fenced, no accessory buildings without permits, and so on.

It's tempting to run up to our 40 acres where we could build a cabin and no one would ever even know it, but for now at least we will live here on our terms.

Yes we have a few country mansions here, but they are all built by big ag families. I guess we are lucky, huh
