French frogs

Morning Frogs.

Think I'll try to get some work done today, since yesterday was all wrapped up with the sick chicks I didn't work much. Had to cull one today, and the other straggler just looks like a failure to thrive. Wants to sleep all the time and seems to have trouble swallowing. But the other 8 are bouncing around the tote so I'll graduate to the bigger brooder tote this afternoon.

For those of you with Brinsea Octo's - do you tear apart the top to clean it or just blow out the dust with canned air?

Have a great day everyone!

Morning Glories! We're off this week.

I'm calling my wife Dr. Oz these days. She's been nursing chicks. This splayed leg baby is almost straight now but he won't let the wife set him him back in the brooder. He starts crying and runs back in her hands. She named him Band-Aid:

I use the air nozzle on my air compressor to give the fan a whirl and displace the dust between hatches. At the end of the season I remove the screws and use a soft brush to dust the fan blades, and wash the plastic panel.
