I wish you could see the stitching skills of the doc. It's quite impressive and I'm sort of puzzled as to how he covered the end with my thumb skin without using grafts. Picture a baseball and how the leather is cut and stitched. That's the way my thumb looks.

Hubby commented on how fast chit happens, and how easy it is for it to happen.
