I thought you had a Brinsea? You shouldn't be having temperature fluctuations like that.
the house does it was 45 this morning in the house..... It got down close to zero last night.... I don't hear the house at night..... It's the only thing I can think of..... If I don't have to keep going into it All the time it would be better... Then again these eggs weren't necessarily optimum
 
The incubator should compensate for the external temps. Why do you have to keep opening it? I think I missed something.

Reason i dont mind hand turning my octogons is because i can turn the entire unit

X2 what Walnut said. You're working yourself to death turning eggs. Just rock it back and forth on the flat edges. That's why it has the Octagon design, you turn the whole incubator, not the individual eggs
