I was told to get one of those for weasles. I have not yet had a weasle problem (knock on wood) but was told they work great nailed to the side of the coop (where chickens could not reach) bated with meat.

You can put a bolt or similar under the spring for more power too.

I have that bait pedal bent out so I don't even have to bait it.
They can't squeeze by without triggering it.

See, ya know how u never have to type those passwords? my phone chit out an I had to get a new one that doesn't have my passwords stored. Had my passwords written in a note pad on that phone and it seems the note was deleted, previous retrieval email is also inaccessible....

I'm being more careful now!

Hubby says he's about 60%, I think its more like 80% of his old self. Still working up the old energy level and weight and strength, but everything else seems to be working fine My ankle is weird....walking is fine, just tender to the touch, and I have a bad habit of tucking that foot up under my behind when I sit Thanks so much for asking. You are such a sweetheart I assume you kept all your digits in check while building the pens and didn't hurt anything yourself? Yall did a great job! I'm sure all those beautiful birds will thank you and enjoy it.

Just a thought...have you ever tried incubating at a slightly higher temperature to get the chick out of the shell faster, or to scrub the cuticle off the egg over the air cell to enhance vapor exchange? Or even (gasp) drilling a tiny hole in the air cell with a 1/64" bit at lockdown? If I had to deal with those conditions I'd be trying all sorts of off the wall things.

I accidentally killed some wild baby bunnies when I was 18.. I knew they needed wood to chew on...had no idea they were soaked in creasote....until they started dieing...I cried all day..
