So I got eggs from Walnut yesterday!!! 29 of the 33 eggs were intact. Wiggly air cells, and some rolling, but we'll see how they do. I set 7 of my own eggs with them. I got 3 out of four thermometers reading 99.5 degrees, and about 30-35 percent humidity according to zoomed hygrometer. Here's hoping I can get some of those fluffy little puff balls.
I know they had a long trip, sounds like they had a rough trip too. Good luck!

Not unless you can tell me how to fix mouse problems... Have a Turner motor that went out on both turners too... Had an animal emergency so buying one now is not feasible... $3.00 an egg seems expensive?
You can hand turn, as long as you are home a little bit every day. It's more work, but maybe you can sell enough chicks out of the hatch to fix or replace your incubator. What kind of incubator? Any other issues with it?

I can't hand turn as I have a full time & part time job, then chores. Bators were in storage, an my good one is destroyed. My back up is ok I think, but turner motors not so good. One won't come on at all, the other one stalls out after an hour or so...

You'll find that most of us have similar challenges. You don't have to turn them by the clock. Just nudge them around when you are home. Better to hand turn when you can than rely on broken turners.

Speaking of eggs in the bator, I got home to find the Spot Check showing 104.8. I'm afraid these are all history. Humidity was like 50% too, so I'm going to wait until dark and check the eggs again.

Flockin styro!
Don't give up so fast, let them cool a while then get them back to normal. Candle tomorrow.

My cabinet's showing 104F and I have great development. Just moved turkeys into lockdown. One more set in the incubator and I will turn off the GQF.

Yea I'm not counting them out just yet. Thanks for the encouragement though. I think the ones currently in the bator will be my last ones for a while.
